This is my final image for my brand Illamasqua. I think my image relates really well with my given word 'Naked' as the aim for this word was to explore body paint and art. The theme for my brand image was Japanese art (white face and floral prints) but I wanted to make sure it was different from the traditional Japanese make-up look so I didn't give my model an excessive white face, I just made her slightly paler so the colour would show up more. I used a black background not only to make the focus of the image the model but to relate back to Illamasqua, as they use darker backgrounds a lot. I think this is to accentuate the makeup look.
The image didn't need much editing but I removed hairs that were flying about and used the spot tool to remove any blemishes. The main thing I did to the image was Frequency Separation. This made the skin look flawless without removing the texture of the skin. It removed all of the blemishes and added any highlights that were needed. Some of the facial hair was hard to remove because it was removing the makeup as I got rid of it. I don't think its that noticeable so i just left it as it is.
Im really happy with the outcome of my image and could have been happier to have got Illamasqua as my brand and Naked as my word. I think they work really well together.
